RAG & BONE

The DIY Project, An ongoing creative initiative launched in Spring 2011, flipped the traditional photo shoot, allowing the models to get behind the camera and capture content from their point of view. each model is given a camera and a bag of clothes – sharing back photos from their everyday lives which remain un=retouched and un-altered, giving us a glimpse of their true and authentic worlds. in a pre-instagram era, the campaign was among the first in removing the photographer, stylist, set, and glam teams from the process, leaving creative control in the hands of the talent entirely.
